On Friday, July 23rd, the Brick Township Rotary Club will be holding their 26th Annual Bullet Proof Vest Fund Dance.  BrickTownship Police Officers are very dedicated and put their lives on the line each day.  That is why The Bullet Proof Vest Fund was established.  It enables them to purchase, and replace vests, at frequent intervals.  Tickets for this event, which will feature The Dr. Cheeko Band will be on sale for $30.00.  The event is held at the VFW on Adamston Road.  The ticket price includes admission and a dinner buffet.  Support the event by placing an ad in the journal.  Call 732-899-4493 for tickets and/or sponsorship information.

For the fourth year in a row, the Lakewood BlueClaws will host the Cole Brothers Circus of the Stars, and for the first time, there will be four days worth of shows. Aug. 5th & 6th, the shows will be at 4:30 and 7:30. There will be three shows on Aug. 7th at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 and two more on Aug. 8th at 1:30 and 4:30. The Cole Brothers Circus of the Stars has sold out their FirstEnergyPark shows in each of the first three years, so interested fans are encouraged to reserve their spot early.
